NCCIPMA-HR MEMBERSHIP If you are interested in joining a professional association, NCCIPMA-HR is one of the best values around. A $60 annual membership fee gives you these benefits:
To join or renew your membership, please click here to print out an Enrollment form. We are asking you to completely fill out the required items to pay online and to be clear who the member is. (We recognize the member may not be the same individual identified on the credit card. If you renew online through the NCCIPMA website and pay with a credit card (for yourself or someone else), please complete a hard copy of the membership form or print a copy of the completed membership information and mail it to the PO Box.) To pay by check, fill out the form and mail a check with the required fees to the following address: NCC IPMA-HR For further inquiries, please contact Anita Asher at anita.asher@esa.sccgov.org
2010 Calendar Year Membership In an effort to better align and strengthen all levels of the Association, the IPMA-HR Executive Council has adopted new chapter/section affiliation benefits. Effective July 1, 2007, members of IPMA-HR affiliated chapters who are neither International IPMA-HR individual members or agency covered staff members will become International IPMA-HR chapter/affiliated members. International IPMA-HR chapter affiliated members will receive the following benefits: the weekly HR Bulletin, which is rated as one of the most valued IPMA-HR benefits in a recent membership survey and the IPMA-HR member rate for all professional development activities. Please join NCCIPMA-HR or renew your membership by clicking on the enrollment form link. Your Chapter membership will automatically provide you with an affiliate membership to the National IPMA-HR, and you will receive the weekly HR News Bulletin on timely issues pertaining to public sector human resources management. Membership dues are $60 per person for Calendar Year 2010. This annual membership fee, which has not been increased since the 1980’s, is an increase from the $40 fee charged in 2009. The reason behind this increase is for the Chapter to recapture most of the added national affiliate fees of $25.00 assessed to each chapter member. National IPMA has been charging local Chapters affiliate fees since 2007, with the NCCIPMA-HR chapter absorbing these fees over the last two years. In order to maintain the financial stability of our chapter, the Board decided to cease subsidizing the affiliate fees for 2010 and beyond. However, the Board will maintain the cost of activities planned for this year at a nominal fee. Also, the $60 membership fee is consistent with the membership fees charged by other Chapters and represents a mere $5 per month investment into your own professional development. I thank you for your continued support and participation in NCCIPMA-HR. Sincerely, Rob Caughell, President 09/25/09 |
